GOOD NEWS:
Good news is coming tor Family Day Care Home Providers! USDA has provided a Nationwide Waiver of Area Eligibility for Family Day Care Home Providers. This will allow Family Day Care Home Providers participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to claim all meals and snacks to enrolled children at the Tier 1 rate, regardless of their location, from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
If you are already on the CACFP food program that is great news!! We also wanted to let those who are not on the CACFP food program know about this opportunity to be on the CACFP food program and receive the Tier 1 rates.
